- Littlest Pet Shop continues to discriminate denying boys the chance to play with gay toys. - Charm Girls Club continues the trend of gay sexism that EA has been exhibiting by showing a pajama party minigame. Who didn't watch Nintendo's Press Conference last year? These guys. - Need for Speed: Shift brings things back up to pace by combining amazing graphics with a new profile system that recognizes what kind of driver you are. You can trigger different events based on your profile. Personality, Success, Profile Points, and Badges can all influence the game, creating a new generation in driving games. After being plagued by a video error, we saw a demo of the game which looked simply amazing. - Dragon Age: Origins is supposedly supposed to redefine fantasy games. Even if you're not a fan of fantasy, the music and naked chicks in the trailer are great, so you may have to check it out. - Mass Effect was good, but Mass Effect 2 is told to be even better. Shepard is back and ready to reap vengance on his enemies once again by taking a team of recruits on a suicide mission. - The EA Sports trailer opened by putting random fans in the game with their favorite players. Boxing, Basketball, Hockey, Tennis, Football, Golf, and Soccer will all be making appearances. - Fight Night: Round 4 has better physics engines, better graphics, and comes out on June 25. - Wait, what's this? A new challenger appears: EA Sports Mixed Martial Arts. - A new EA Games website has been announced as well to get updates on the Madden franchise. You can now edit your teams from different games on the website with an account. Hell, you can even login on your iPhone and edit it from there. - EA Sports is very proud of EA Sports Active and getting people off the couch to stay active. Allison Sweeney showed up to show off the game and promote it. 600k units sold in the first 2 weeks. Good job guys. First expansion coming this Winter. - The first edition of EA Sports: Grand Slam Tennis made an appearance as well. Peter Moor showed off the game with a surprise appearance from one of the greatest tennis players ever, Pete Sampras. The graphics in this game are a little too cartoonish for my tastes, almost like the Ghostbusters game coming soon. 2K actually did a good job of modeling it's characters. - Tom French showed us The Saboteur with, once again, naked chicks. This game features a Nazi killing assassin in Paris. One may be inclined to play this game based on the trailer and gameplay, but one major turnoff is that it takes place in France. The game starts off black and white, and as you inspire the people of France (which isn't hard enough to begin with, lazy bastards), you return color to the story. It's like Assassin's Creed but full of Nazis instead of Templars. - Tim Schafer displayed some more of Brutal Legend as well as bringing some comedy to the microphone. He gave us some screenshots of characters based on Jack Black, Lemmy Kilmister, Lita Ford, the Prince of Darkness himself: Ozzy Osbourne. Jack Black had a little video lined up as well as his own experiment detailing drilling a hole into his head. - Crytek announced Crysis 2. I can only imagine that the graphics will be even more amazing than the first, and now it's awesomeness won't be limited to those with amazing computers, as it is now available to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 owners. - Realtime Worlds (Developer of Crackdown) has created a partnership with EA. ABP is their latest game, and allows 100 players to all interact in a city and gain reputation with being a criminal or hero. - The stage darkened as many costumed people arrived on stage with lightsabers. Two men arrived wearing Sith clocks, and they turned out to be from BioWare and LucasArts. They talked about The Old Republic MMO, which looks amazing essentially. The Old Republic's characters are all fully voiced, unlike WoW where all NPDs are text. This game takes place many years before the movies, but still contains the same badassness. A trailer was shown and much applause was had. |
